The AAA® Change Model

ALLETRUST’s methodology contains their unique AAA® (Awareness, Agreement, Action) Change Model which assists individuals to alter their behaviour patterns for positive results. This is achieved by showing people how to have a greater self awareness and consequently become more open to reflection and ready for change.
The process centres on how we can alter our reactions to the myriad of impressions we manage every day. Our responses come from life motivators such as: emotions, beliefs, needs and wants; and our memories of how we deal with this type of situation usually results in an automatic outcome.
The key is to unlock this mechanical response through the use of applied emotional intelligence and help people move to a better solution. The AAA® Change Model works by using the following principles:
Awareness
We soak up experiences which get us thinking about the possibility of change. By looking at other leaders, attending courses, learning from our life experiences and talking with others we develop a greater self awareness of our behaviour patterns and emotions. This new understanding of our personal circumstances opens our minds and we become ready for different challenges.
Agreement
The process of identifying the needs behind our emotions helps us to move away from an emotional state and to focus on rational thinking and behaviour. Whilst assimilating and processing this information we may struggle with the new concepts and ideas that arise. Talking through our goals and the life we want to achieve helps us to resolve these issues and move forward. Once determined and settled, we make an internal, or self agreement with ourselves to bury our old habits and move forward.
Action
Now we’ve worked through any impediments and made the decision to move on, we are ready to act in emotionally managed way, which benefits both ourselves and those around us. We hold the knowledge to change our behaviour and habits and have the conviction to stay with our resolution. These habits will become customary by employing the AAA® skills combined with daily practice and internal discipline.
How it works
The AAA® Change Model begins with a period of in-depth dialogue to uncover each individual’s core ambitions and goals; to find out where they want to go and, above all, why. We follow with assessments and analysis to understand the key drivers that make up each person’s personality. From this point we jointly develop a way forward through the leadership program through close dialogue and team collaboration.
Our leadership and management programs are personalised and adapted according to each person and/or company culture, integrating any context or specific needs required for the development and training sessions.
